The Aqua Drill Inspection Division carries a vast array of camera systems of all shapes and sizes to facilitate our customers needs. From 4mm video scopes to large track driven crawlers, submersible ROV's to long range aerial drones we have every aspect of visual inspection covered. Our in-house engineers and inspection team also collaborate on specialty systems when conventional cameras fall short of performing a specific task.

Bore scope video inspection
Video Scopes

The small compact design of these cameras allows for entries as small as ¼” making them ideal for getting into equipment with limited means of access. Our video scopes have a steel braided tether that increases rigidity and eliminates abrasions while moving across the entry point. Available with an articulating head, zoom and stereo measurement, these high definition cameras are great pieces of equipment to be used within any small diameter opening.

Bore scope video inspection
Pushrods

Able to be quickly deployed and self-contained running off a battery pack, pushrods are the ideal camera for pipe systems ranging from 1” to 12”. We carry many different types of pushrods ranging from 7/8” to 2” diameter camera heads with tether lengths up to 400’.The versatility of these systems makes them ideal for longer sections of pipe, piping systems with complex configurations, limited entry access and vertical applications. We also carry pushrods that have pan & tilt functions as well as intrinsically safe models for working within hazardous atmospheres.

Robotic video inspection
AquaTrax 100

The variable chassis of the Aquatrax 100 makes it extremely versatile in pipes 6” and greater. Carrying a rare earth magnet for added traction within a pipe and extremely strong tracks makes this crawler able to travel distances up to 600’. With independent steering of each track, this crawler easily navigates 45 & 90° bends in piping systems that are 12” and greater. Variable lighting and a dual camera system makes for a “split screen” view with cameras pointing both forward and rear making navigation within a pipe that much safer. The system is 100% waterproof and is rated to depths of up to 100’.

Robotic video inspection
AquaTrax 150

The variable chassis of the Aquatrax 150 makes it extremely versatile in pipes 12” and greater. This nonmagnetic crawler is capable of carrying a 200lbs payload making it ideal for carrying pumps or hoses for water removal within a piping system. The extremely strong tracks of this system make it able to travel distances up to 600’ while carrying additional weight onboard or dragging equipment behind it. With independent steering of each track, this crawler easily navigates 45 & 90° bends in piping systems that are 18” and greater. Variable lighting and a dual camera system makes for a “split screen” view with a zoom able camera up front and fixed position camera on the back making navigation within a pipe that much safer. The system is 100% waterproof and is rated to depths of up to 100’

Robotic video inspection
MicroMag

The flat chassis configuration of the MicroMag makes it for larger pipe and vessel inspections. Carrying a rare earth magnet for added traction within a pipe/vessel and extremely strong tracks makes this crawler able to travel distances up to 600’. With independent steering of each track, this crawler easily navigates 45 & 90° bends in piping systems that are 24” and greater. Variable lighting and a dual camera system makes for a “split screen” view with cameras pointing both forward and rear making navigation within a pipe that much safer. Having the flat chassis configuration allows for additional sensors or lighting to be placed onboard. As with all of our crawlers, the systems are 100% waterproof and are rated to depths of up to 100’

Aerial drone inspection
External Drone

Our FAA licensed pilots are able to operate within a 4.5 mile range in line of sight reducing down time between assets and safer launch/recovery from a remote location. The IP43 ingress rating means our long range aerial inspection drones were designed to be utilized in the harsh environments of the industrial sector. With a maximum flight time of 40 minutes and an array of onboard obstacle avoidance sensors, these UAVs are operated in accordance with the CFR 107 rules and regulations, with safety as the number one priority. Multiple camera configurations leads to the versatility of these systems able to be outfitted with 4K HD cameras as well as FLIR® for any thermal applications.

Internal drone inspection
Internal Drone

Specifically designed to be flown within a confined space, the compact design allows these systems to be deployed in entries as small as 18”. The carbon fiber exoskeleton surrounding the rotors allows this drone to be operated in close proximity to equipment and personnel without the risk of injury or damage. A dual camera system allows for video or images to be shot in either 4K HD or thermal with the use of the on-board FLIR® resulting in a high resolution photo with a thermal overlay. These systems reduce risk to personnel by eliminating confined space entry for visual inspections and greatly reduce cost making them a great asset for quick data collection.

Submesible ROV inspection
Submersible ROV

The small compact design of our submersibles allows them to be deployed at a moment’s notice through openings as small as 24”. Full HD camera system with variable lighting and an 8 hour battery life means a completely mobile system that can be launched from just about anywhere. Rated to depths of 400’ and carrying a 1,000’ tether the system can be piloted in both freshwater and marine applications. Multiple attachments allow the system to be utilized for object search/recovery, sediment & water sample as well as underwater UT.

Tank and Vessel inspection
Pan tilt zoom

Small enough to fit though a 6” opening this waterproof HD camera system has 30x zoom capabilities as well as variable lighting. Able to pan 360 ° and tilt 245° this system has the ability to see the smallest imperfections in tanks, vessels and piping. Attached to a telescoping carbon fiber rod the camera head is able to be raised or lowered up to 15’ eliminating most scaffolding and confined space procedures for visual inspection. With a 100’ tether the camera head can be manipulated away from the entry making for a safer work area as well as better viewing conditions.

Monitoring systems

Remote monitoring brings a new level of safety for tasks that may be harmful or dangerous to personnel. These systems are custom built and job specific with the ability to use up to 8 cameras per control module. Both hard wired and wireless systems are availiable with a maximum 600ft radius from the control module allowing for the operator to be a safe distance away from the location of the cameras. 100% water proof HD cameras with built in infared lighting make these systems versatile in any condition.

Nozzle Camera

Our Nozzle camera was in-house developed to be used in conjunction with Aqua Milling equipment for long sections of piping ranging from 4”-10”. Able to be attached to our standard high pressure hose, this camera is utilized when conventional camera systems fall short due to pipe distances or in vertical applications. The system is made up of a HD camera with onboard recording and up to 1,200 lumens of light output.
